glad you asked. tumler is a yiddish word for "the person who gets the party going." a name my grandma (RIP mimsy) used to call me because i always got the games, the conversation, and the fun going.

how to play with the tumler deck
there are two game categories you can play wth tumler:

how to play
pick a q
1.
deal out 3-5 cards to each player.
2.
pick someone to be the rounds rat. (why rat? because rats are cute and mysterious–we should get to know them better.)
3.
everyone chooses one of their cards they want the rat to answer.
4.
put the card face down in front of the rat.
5.
the rat reads all the questions out loud.
6.
on the count of 3, everyone points to a card they want the rat to answer most.
7.
majority wins. if there's a tie or split votes, the rat chooses which one to answer.
8.
the person to the rat’s left is the new rat :)
9.
play until bored.
highest card asks
deal everyone a card. whoever has the highest card asks their question to the group.
once you start noticing repeat questions, switch it up:
highest card answers
deal everyone a card. whoever has the highest card has to answer their question.
